Project Manager – Dermatology and Integrative Cardiovascular Medicine

James has worked in research at Manchester University NHS Foundation Trust since 2019, across various teams including Diabetes, COVID-19 and paediatric oncology research specialties. He was a Clinical Trials Coordinator and responsible for the project management of portfolios of studies, negotiation of budgets with industry partners and trial data validation and governance amongst other duties.

He joined the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre in 2024 as the Project Manager for the Dermatology and Integrative Cardiovascular Medicine Themes.

He trained in Forensic Science and Human Biology at Keele University and worked as an analytical chemist working in a laboratory regulated by the Medicines and Healthcare products Regulatory Agency (MHRA), where he was responsible for conducting and creating analytical tests for drug products from industry partners such as AstraZeneca and Pfizer.
