Project Manager – Rare Conditions

Gabrielle completed her Biochemistry PhD in 2017 at the University of Bristol where she studied the molecular mechanisms underpinning learning and memory. She continued her academic research in protein trafficking for several years before transitioning into research project management in 2024.

Gabrielle is now a Project Manager for the Manchester Rare Conditions Centre and a number of Rare Disease Research UK grants, which are joint-funded by the Medical Research Council and the NIHR.

In 2025, Gabrielle will be providing maternity cover as a Project Manager for the Rare Conditions Theme of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre.
