Cath Wright
Research Programme Manager – Hearing Health
cath.wright@manchester.ac.ukCath has worked in research project management since 2004. This has been across a variety of disciplines both at The University of Manchester and for a Contract Research Organisation. She has a BA (Hons) in History and Sociology from The University of Manchester and an MSc in Medical Sociology and Research Methods from Royal Holloway College, University of London.
Cath currently works at the Manchester Centre for Audiology and Deafness (ManCAD) at The University of Manchester as Research Programme Manager for the Hearing Health theme of the NIHR Manchester Biomedical Research Centre. She is also the Cluster Manager for the High-Burden Under-Researched Conditions Cluster, which includes the Rare Conditions and Mental Health themes, as well as Hearing Health.
As well as the day-to-day management of the Hearing Health theme and Cluster, Cath also has oversight of all research taking place in ManCAD, managing budgets, supporting researchers and line managing administrative staff.
