Information and Data Manager

Alan Sheill joined the NHS in 2024 as the Information and Data Manager for the NIHR Manchester BRC and NIHR Manchester Clinical Research Facility (CRF) Data Management Team. He provides interactive dashboards and other business intelligence reports on the activity of Manchester BRC and Manchester CRF, and manages the Data Management Team with oversight of the BRC and CRF portfolios.

Alan has a BSc in Multimedia and Application Development with a speciality in database design and before joining the Data Management Team was an IT developer. In previous roles, Alan has managed various databases, optimising these systems and reporting on data used for improvement and trend analysis.
