‘Humanising research and innovation through storytelling’
We showcase Manchester BRC’s story of driving health improvements and lasting change for all to a wide audience, including: staff, partners, academia, industry, regulators, government bodies, patients and the public.
Engaging with the Manchester BRC Communications Team
Why is this important?
Manchester BRC Communications Team can support you with promotion of your research to the media and across Manchester BRC channels.
How to contact the Manchester BRC Communications Team
Please complete the form below to inform the team of exciting or notable BRC research, upcoming publications, blog idea, patient case study, event, training opportunity, conference or funding announcement.
If you are sharing exciting or notable BRC research, get in touch with us as early as possible to ensure that there is enough time to create wide-reaching and impactful stories to showcase your research. For example, notify us around the same time that you are preparing a publication for submission to a journal.
We are required to send details of all media activity to the NIHR Communications Team a minimum of three working days before any journalist outreach.
This requirement applies to any research supported or funded, in part or in full, by NIHR. Examples may include:
- Newsworthy project findings
- A publication that may lead to a press release or other
media activity - Taking part in interviews for press or broadcast
Blog guidelines
